Inspired Coffee

I have struggled with allergies for many years. For about five years, I endured severe headaches that would begin on the right side of my temple and wrap around the top of my head. These headaches were agonizing and occurred almost daily from August to November, as well as at various times throughout the year.


I had always heard that local honey could be beneficial for this type of issue, and out of desperation, I thought it was worth a try. After a few days of consuming a tablespoon of honey each day, I realized I needed to find a better way to incorporate it into my daily routine.


So, I began experimenting with different combinations in my coffee. That was over six years ago, and now I am mostly headache-free. I noticed a significant improvement after just a few weeks. Did the honey make the difference? I can’t say for certain, but I am certainly a believer!



Since I have to avoid many commercial creamers, this inspired coffee has become my go-to when I want to make my morning cup just a little fancy!


• 1 heaping tablespoon of local honey

• ½ tablespoon of 100% organic Maple Syrup

• Two shakes of organic Cinnamon

• One shake of organic Pumpkin Pie Spice

• Two drops food grade Peppermint

• Organic Coconut Milk as desired. (I do about two tablespoons.)


Stir all ingredients into a cup of brewed coffee and enjoy!
